An amnesiac young woman that was found on the outskirts of idyllshire. Hebe’s past is lost to her, a faint shadow in her memory that only manifests as vague dreams. They normally consist of her being held by a red-haired man - a past lover, perhaps? That is what Hebe wishes to know, and why she now wanders about the world, in search of a life that is now out of her reach.

Hebe is adept at magicks, as it is one of the only things she could properly recall upon awakening. She excels at white magic, in such a way it is almost unnatural. She has a difficult time controlling it, as magic seems to go haywire when her emotions are rampant. To combat that issue, the staff she wields (gifted to her by a kindly scholar) helps to counter any strong surge of aether that may spring from her. While Hebe has trained herself to keep her emotions intact and maintain a serene demeanor, it’s good to have a way to keep her magic in check.While the stars captivate most denizens of the Source, it only causes Hebe irrational fear. Shooting stars in particular always seem to strike a chord in her, as they are all-too similar to the dreams she has, where the world is up in flames and smoke tinges the air. Stars only seem to remind Hebe of the end of all things, and as such she cannot bring herself to feel anything other than muted melancholy when she sees them.

although her magicks can carry her a long way, hebe’s body is dainty and curvy with voluptuous assets to match, yet lacking any real amount of muscle. she excels as a healer but struggles to keep up with anyone who may be her comrade in physical combat. She can easily grow tired, yet always pushes herself to do better, to go harder than last time. her eyes are a gorgeous lavender hue that seems to glow, accentuated by her long eyelashes. Her lips are plump and pink, with a cute button nose to match. Her long, curly jet black hair perfectly frames her face, matched with her dark complexion. She is usually dressed in white and lavender themed dresses, giving her an air of elegance.

Hebe is a rather reserved, and meek young woman plagued with amnesia. She tends to prefer to blend into the background, and not make herself known. However, she is far from antisocial, as Hebe is kind and tender, almost to a fault. Her voice is always accompanied by a gentle and motherly lilt to it. She carries herself with a calm and steady demeanor, but does have moments where her vulnerability shines through. She’s an incredible listener, and excels at being able to connect with others due to her open-minded nature towards all peoples, no matter what life they may walk. However, do not mistake her kindness for gullibility, for Hebe is not easy to deceive. She’s very perceptive, and is able to see through masks. Perhaps this is a remaining social ability she had in the Unsundered World.

There is a sadness to hebe that haunts her every step. Her lack of memories from before she’d first awoken in Idyllshire has always been a sore spot for her. She scarcely speaks of it, or of herself in general, making Hebe have an air of mystery about her. Ironically, despite asking for others to confide in her, she scarcely allows herself the same luxury of confiding in a third party. At night, dreams of men wearing dark robes and light masks haunt her, and she wakes wanting to know more. She yearns to know of her origin, and had set out on her own to search for it. Hebe has a drive to her as a result, contrasting her quiet demeanor and sad eyes.

She tends to travel a lot, so it isn’t out of the ordinary for her to run into adventurers on the road that need her aid. Perhaps you’re a seasoned adventurer in search for a healer. Or maybe you’re just someone who wants a traveling partner in general. Anything goes too - exploring dungeons, going on a fetch quest, even things more mundane or more exciting.

It’s a secret to Hebe that she’s an Ancient. But maybe a similarly old soul can see that something is off about her. Perhaps her ability to see souls would set them off, her natural talent for creation magicks, or maybe her peculiar soul? Hebe’s greatest motivation is her desire to rediscover who and what she used to be, so to have someone gain a curiosity in her could be interesting. And of course, she would want to return the favor.

It’s easy to interact with Hebe in scenarios outside of her unfortunate predicament. Maybe you stumble upon her in Gold Saucer, or you see her searching for goods in the marketplace, anything could happen. In Hebe’s great search for her past, she could be anywhere, but she does predominately frequent either Gridania (where her apartment is) or Idyllshire (where her guardians live). She’s a rather friendly individual, it’s easy to click with her despite her secretive and meek nature.
